A big porch and a lot of white to get right.

This farmhouse sits on open acreage with vineyards down the road. It has a long wraparound porch, tall columns, dormers and black shutters, which means a lot of trim and a lot of surface in full sun.

White is the hardest color to fake. Every patch, drip and missed edge shows. The porch ceiling, columns and railings got the same care as the big walls.

Open country means sun and wind on every side, so the coating has to hold its color and stay clean for years, not one season.
