Oregon rain finds every gap. Old hardboard and T1-11 siding swells and rots once water gets behind it, and patching the surface only hides the problem. We strip the damaged siding, fix the sheathing and framing underneath, wrap the wall, flash every opening, and install new siding. Then we prime and paint it ourselves, so the new siding is sealed the day it goes up.
